ICT owner, who was an agent, franchised by SAG and AFTRA in New York ten years ago, offers life coaching for actors and young actors alike. Her background goes beyond the world of entertainment. She is her father's most dedicated student, (he passed away in 2009 and was is a retired psychotherapist). She has also been very involved in personal growth and suggests the following reads and trainings:
Anthony Robbins, Louise L Hay, Wayne Dywer, Esther and Jerry Hicks and Rhonda Byrne.
ICT, an Icitigroup company , offers courses designed to teach the students and child actors, on camera necessary skills needed to book work in the entertainment industry.
Our mission is to help our students get such valuable acting skills under their belt, but also, we enjoy very much watching our children grow at a social, communicative level.
Our mission encompasses life training and the ability for the talent to switch to a powerful posture, vocal expression and level of energy, in order to be whom she/he needs to be to have things turn out.
A timid child, for example, who is not too shy to work with, is taken to the next step in assertiveness and self confidence. Our kids naturally develop their personality within this process, which goes far beyond acquiring on camera skills.
We also routinely invite our kids to practice positive affirmation and envision themselves in the exact place they wish to gravitate towards. Affirmations however are not sufficient to manifest the intent. Incantations present a more powerful level of expression. The process of affirmation has to be performed with heart, energy and passion. At ICT, we feel that the mind is a powerful tool, not only for actors but also for anyone who wishes to create a different environment for themselves.
We do not accept any and all applicants. We have a very hard time turning children down, however if the results sought are not deemed within reach, the evaluation process allows for us to identify such lack of possibilities, which in turn will make admission unrealistic. (Water is wet, rock is hard.)
If you are accepted into one of our programs, our placement program will help introduce you to agents, managers and casting directors who frequently, WEEKLY, visit our school in order to evaluate our students.
We are blessed with such weekly visits of Hollywood agents, who very much favor our Institution over other acting schools for their recruitment purposes. Many acting schools in Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, and San Diego may offer potential students acting and modeling classes without having any licensing with the bureau for post-secondary schools or an exemption pertaining to the adult education, if classes for adults are not offered.
Many acting schools in Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, and San Diego may offer potential students acting and modeling classes without having any licensing with the bureau for post-secondary schools or an exemption pertaining to the adult education, if adult education is not offered. An exemption, which would also present good standing with the State of California, or proper licensing, is the law. ICT's owner and faculty take pride in the fact that our institution is warranty by the State of California through their exemption fr the adult education process.
ICT does not offer agency representation. Any advice or guidance given by its owner, members of our administration or faculty is at no charge whatsoever.
Our evaluations exist for the purpose of determination if a potential student qualifies for our programs pertaining to our acting lessons, and are not "auditions" towards employment.
To schedule an appointment for a FREE evaluation:
Call us at 949 273 8800 Monday through Friday 1PM to 9PM. The Academic portion of our institution is open seven days a week, but the appointments for evaluation purposes, are obtained during week days.
Please Note:* Due to the strength of our programs, many agents (that have absolutely no affiliation with us) come to our facilities in order to evaluate students. Although many of our students have been signed up by agents after attending one or more of our programs, we do not guarantee that any student will be signed by an agent. In addition, any audition with an agent or casting director is neither a guarantee, nor a promise, of employment. |
